Our Needs

1. Good Shepherd Institute needs invitations to teach and train.

Good Shepherd Institute believes the greatest weakness (or heresy) of today’s church may be its stubborn refusal to acknowledge the reality of evil, often in its own ranks. We believe many tormented people and churches suffer needlessly for lack of knowledge.

Good Shepherd Institute welcomes opportunities to teach about the reality of evil and to train people of faith to confront and overpower satan.

Please contact us if we can speak to your group and/or lead a workshop about facets of spiritual warfare.

2. Good Shepherd Institute needs funding.

Fighting evil is not a “warm, fuzzy” ministry which generates a lot of spontaneous support. At Good Shepherd Institute, we do not feed the hungry, house the homeless, give to the poor, sponsor needy children, send missionaries, build buildings or preach on television – all worthy causes to which donors historically give. Sadly, delivering someone from a demon, clearing a home or building of demonic infestation and curse, or pulling someone out of satanism hardly inspires the average giver. Most of our work is private, confidential, behind the scenes and not universally accepted. And out of conviction, we do not charge for help given to individuals.

Raising money is very hard for us. We appreciate every donation, however small. Good Shepherd Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization. All gifts are tax deductible and acknowledged in a year-end statement.

If you feel led to give a financial gift to support Good Shepherd Institute, you may choose one of the following methods:

Send a check or money order made out to Good Shepherd Institute, P.O. Box 51485, Summerville, SC 29485.

OR use PayPal

3. Good Shepherd Institute needs a place of its own.

Good Shepherd Institute seeks the donated use of office and counseling space somewhere in the Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville or Mt. Pleasant, S.C., area. If you, your church or organization wish to explore the possibility of hosting us on your site, please contact Rev. Brian Connor, at Director@GoodShepherdInstitute.com.

4. Good Shepherd Institute needs prayer.

We list this primary need last in hopes it will be remembered first.

Sometimes GSI staff can directly attribute success or failure in a ministry project to the intensity of sincere, sustained intercessory prayer in our behalf. Given the nature of our work, for us to request prayer is like a soldier asking for ammunition. Nice but un-kept promises won’t do. We need, sometimes desperately, this power. Let us know if we can add you to a list of e-mail contacts when urgent prayer is sought.
